Oh, thank you, thank you, in this month of Christmas stress (always stressful getting it done, always so worth it to have gotten it done) for a hearty belly laugh. The way the visual and the caption worked together was just priceless!

I think the red one was entitled "Commitment Phobia Cures - a 12 step program", and the blue ones are "Fatherhood: You own his seed, he'll never be freed". ;)

Hee! This is also one of my all-time faves.

You know, I've never really bought the 'commitment phobia' notion -- let's face it, he'd be a great fling and a terrific friend, but a lousy choice for a permanent partner. Why is it condemnable for him never to have done something that he would have done so badly?

And anyone with a grain of sense would've avoided Maria. Urk. If a retired assassin half my age started making eyes at me, I'd definitely show signs of phobia.

So my proposals for the brochures:

Office Jobs: Why you must have one
Neckties Can Be Fun!
10 Sedate Choices for Your Wardrobe
Greed Is Good
Dismissing Environmentalism
Let's Get That Nasty Science Out of Our Classrooms!

Well, I'm sure that Mac's reputation for commitment phobia comes from two sources: his girl-of-the-week phenomenon, and the well documented commitment phobia of the man who plays him on TV. Amanda Tapping tells (with great affection and amusement) the story of how RDA was sweating and nervous at having to play Jack O'Neill marrying Sam in the wedding scene in 200, until she took him by the hand and told him to relax, it was just play, and then he got himself out of that head space and had fun. It's my personal opinion that most of the girls-of-the-week left him when he was perfectly ready to continue indefinitely, but utterly unwilling to stop doing what he did. The ones that he left were crazy (cf. the Jericho Games lady, and Maria).

Still, I must admit, I like your list of pamphlets better! You just need to add "Creationism and You".
