And the Red Hats are not a clandestine Government organization.

Suddenly I feel like I stumbled into my favourite quote from "A Fish Called Wanda. "Those are all mistakes, Teal'c, I looked them up!"

I thought the Red Hats were a conspiracy of Communist Spanish Inquisitors.

The mouseover had me doubled over. I will have to share with Beloved Husband when he gets home.

He insists that one of the house computers must be able to run Linux, but since most of his nearest and dearest (particularly the under 17 set) don't want to use Linux, the computer that runs Linux has a double boot set up, which means that if one turns on the computer and then gets distracted, the moment to state a preference will come and go, and the machine will default to Ubuntu. This state of affairs is referred to locally as "being Ubuntu-ed", as in "Hey, stop chatting and pay attention! You're about to be Ubuntu-ed!"

We maintain he is a System Lord. Just a virtual one, perhaps less evil than the more powerful Billgates.

Perhaps from now on I won't say "You're gonna get Ubuntu-ed!" I'll just yell "Kree!"

Hahaha!
Ever tried using a ribbon device or a zat to 'Un-Ubuntu'?
lolmac From: lolmac Date: 19th March 2012 22:20 (UTC) (Link)
Properly used, a ribbon device will guarantee that the machine in question will never Ubuntunize again.

"But maybe I can get you Mac... just need to call my cousin Dexter Fillmore. You got a phone with intergalactic service?"

"also, the browser is called opera, not oprah."

But ONeill, I was told that Oprah is the most commonly watched browser in the daytime.
