Fashion Week VII

Still gotta do sumthin bout da hair.

News Flash!

The imitable katxander, who drew the “Blowing out the Camel” cartoon for my birthday, has discovered the fate of the notorious Shirt.
Shirt to kill!
Kat’s cartoon characters include toddler versions of Jack and Daniel, aka Dak and Danny. Danny, it seems, is prone to adopting unwanted and unappreciated, um, things: the two items that look like lovestruck haystacks are the grey and brown mullet wigs used in the “MacGruber meets MacGyver” skits on Saturday Night Live.

A small boy who will adopt mullets will definitely rescue an unloved shirt from the heartless Fashion Police.

Kat has provided the following translation of Danny and Dak’s private dialect:
“Hey, Jack! Look at what I found out in a place in Vancouver! It’s a hula shirt or something.”
“I know I’m colour blind, but I think you’re just blind, Danny . . . whoa . . . you’re scaring Khufu.”

Oh yeah..the shirt...

I almost missed the cartoon, because I was...um...fixated...Mac looks as if he needs someone to keep him warm, and make sure he wasn't hurt by that shirt. Boys, you go and tend to the shirt. I need to make sure Uncle Mac is okay...

Re: Oh yeah..the shirt...

I'm concerned about separation anxiety. He might wander around shirtless and disoriented for some time. Wouldn't that be delightful dreadful?

That cartoon is adorable. That shirt has definitely gone to a better place. I can't say I'm unhappy about the state of its previous wearer, either.

We should make sure he doesn't get chilled, though. We can take it in shifts. It's our duty.

I'll take first watch! (I've always wanted to say that. And it's for a good cause. Mmm. Yeah.)

I don't think the fashion police are supported by taxes; I think they get kickbacks from Versace.

He'll get over it . . . or get another one . . . or just do without.
